Come to Dalat, tourist love always to climb up the LangBian Mountain – the summit of city – to see the spectacular city below, to explore the verdant nature and taste the fresh mountain air.
The trek begins in a pine forest and heads towards a green jungle before climbing up to 2169 m. The trail is steep but worthy of your efforts when you reach the top. This trek is moderate of 5 hours on 14km of single trail with a visit of the Lat village at the end of the day.
Pick up: 8h30.
This one-day adventure begins in the north-west of the city. We drive 30 minutes along the picturesque scenic trails to LangBian Mountain, where we begin our journey. First we hike through the pine forest then continue in the jungle up to the top of the mountain. At the top you can enjoy a fruit break and then follow a ridge on the second summit of Langbian. There you will receive a picnic of fresh vegetables and fruits, baguettes with an assortment of toppings and a French-style pastry to satisfy your sweet tooth. Dalat is known as Vietnam’s vegetable garden and lunch offers you a chance to try some of Dalat’s tasty products.
After lunch and a rest on the summit of the mountain, we pass to the third highest peak. The cement foundations on this summit are remains of an old US radar base as a helipad.
After descending the mountain, it is possible to visit the village of the Lat ethnic minority for a look at their weaving craft and their cultural heritage.
